Clydebank, 1935. Hundreds of workers at John Brown’s Shipyard, get back to work on RMS Queen Mary, one of the largest of it’s time, after their dinner break.


Building it was a struggle: the company that had ordered her was badly hit by the Great Depression had to take a £3 million loan from the British Government to end a thre-year shutdown get these men back to work.
