Santa struggles to get one of his reindeer moving, maybe because it’s not yet Christmas Eve.

What would Santa / Father Christmas / Kris Kringle / St Nick be without his reindeer to help him deliver all the toys to the good boys and girls? They were introduced to Christmas lore in 1823 by Clement C Moore’s poem A Visit from St Nicholas – better known as The Night Before Christmas.

Did you know… For him to be able to deliver all the presents in one night, Santa has to travel at 1,800 miles per second and his sleigh weighs over one million tonnes.
